Fascinating. I also have asperger's and have actually done neurlogical exploration in my own brain to discover what are the differences between our brain and everybody elses. I experience intense interests for a few days or weeks at a time which then shift to something else. If you listen to amethystium music while browsing faces of people, or watch others talking, it gives me a sixth sense of the combined commonality of humanity, and I can then talk from that newly percieved reality. I have never found a group whose perception of reality mirrors mine super well. Looking forward to connecting to many! :)

How do I get myself to talk about what others like to think about? I am good at talking about things I read on the internet, but sometimes I get bored of thinking about the things I read, and I want, in some way, to get used to talking about the good things in life, before I get too wrapped up into talking about the same things constantly, and annoying my parents! Do you have any suggestions that you have come across while getting used to having asperger's sydrome? I have it, too, and I want to find a way to use it to my advantage, but not get unhealthily into the same ideas of thoughts everyday. I would like to have some relationship with someone who knows how to help autistic and asperger's syndrome adults to get used to belonging to a group or to society, and knowing more what to talk about with the group that I am belonging to as of now. Thank you for your kind consideration, and I hope we can write to each other sometime very soon! You seem like you have such a well-versed, understanding mind, that I would like to learn from you how to deal with the world around me as an Asperger's Syndrome adult! Thanks so much, Diane
