The Healthcare for ALL Music Guru
I have Aspergers, which is a mild form of autism. I am a seeker of a better job. I am married to a wife I love very much, and loves me very much,Sharon. She may be on spectrum, but not sure; she does have bipolar disorder.
I am a born-again Christian.
I am also a musician/singer/songwriter. Many of my original songs reflect concern over healthcare crisis. But now, after finding what made me different is Aspergers Syndrome I am starting to write songs in concern for autism awareness. My most recent is one I wrote for someone named Adrienne or Age926 who has classic autism and her boyfriend Jim who is NT. Adrienne is a special lady; but I also regard all my friends on the spectrum as special, too. Those of you on the spectrum; you are special people; please don't let anybody tell you otherwise.
On Jan 2, 2008 I made a brave step at Meadowlark Coffee and Espresso here in Lincoln NE. This was at an open mic event, my turn came to go on stage, I went to the house piano. "Tonight (started chord run in Ab) I plan to do a song by the late Sammy Davis Jr. All my life I knew I was different; but didn't always know what the heck it was. I've coped, and much of my life managed it very well. Recent circumstances forced me to come to terms with it. I have Aspergers Syndrome, a mild form of autism. Yes, I am autistic, and not ashamed of it anymore. This is where I got my incredible compassion to become the healthcare for ALL Music Guru. But ultimately (started introduction in C) I've Gotta Be Me!" then sang the Sammy Davis Jr classic "I've Gotta Be Me."
